ACME Trading presents one of the most famous Challenger drag cars ever!!! The RAMCHARGERS famous Candy Striped Dodge vehicles terrorized the competition all throughout the 1960's. Setting NHRA records and winning championships in practically every class from Super Stock to Top Fuel. By the time 1970 came around, the NHRA came calling with their brand new "PRO STOCK" class. Never the team to back down from a challenge, the RAMCHARGERS were quick to answer with a Dodge Challenger of their own. This Dodge Challenger. Powered by the legendary 426 HEMIĀ®, and the first manual transmission in the team's arsenal since they switched to the "Candymatic" TorqueFllites in 1963... the RAMCHARGERS built a 1970 Dodge Challenger with their focus set on teams and racers like Sox & Martin, Dick Landy, Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins, "Dyno Don" Nicolson and more. Driving duties for the Pro Stock car were split between Leroy Palarchio and Larry Cooper. Campaigning this car for only 2 seasons (later modified to 1971 trim, as seen here), the mighty RAMCHARGERS-built HEMI was just too powerful and had it's Logghe chassis screaming for mercy every time it lined up at the Tree.
