The name Yenko was very popular during those times, thanks to Don Yenko’s racing career. Much like Shelby people saw him in almost every car-related thing, from race tracks to car shows. So, seeing a car with the name “Yenko” automatically made it unique and precious. Due to its performance-oriented design and race-inspired aesthetic, people have regarded the 1969 Chevrolet Yenko Camaro as a classic in the automotive world. Yenko constructed the Yenko Camaro version in small numbers (only about 201 vehicles total).  There were only 66 Daytona Yellow Yenko Camaros made and even fewer with vinyl tops.
