LIMITED EDITION OF 1000 PIECES

Mercedes entered four race cars of the type W125 for the Donington Grand Prix of England that took place on October 2nd, 1937.

With starting number 1, Rudolf Caracciola took off from the 2nd row of the grid, but he soon managed to catch up with the race leaders. In the course of the race, “Caratsch” took the lead for some time. But he was not on the top of his game that day. Towards the end of the race, he was surpassed by his teammate von Brauchitsch and Rosemeyer, leaving behind only a 3rd place finish possible for him. That was exactly how the race ended.

CMC has replicated the Caracciola car virtually identical to the original, and it is now released as a worldwide limited edition of 1,000 units in scale 1:18.
